Let's Get Acquainted
Hello. I'm Michele. I bought an 1890 farmhouse on 3 acres in mid-Michigan in 2016. Wanting to eat healthier, and grow produce without chemicals, I started building a garden. I add more and more every year, it's a work in progress (as am I). As the garden grows, so shall the gardener. It's my happy place, I call it Lazy Daisy Farm. I love daisies... happy little flowers. ;-)
This blog will come from my adventures into gardening and life in general. I am now retired, following back surgery in 2019. My pace has slowed, and my appreciation for life has deepened. I am experimenting with recipes and herbs. I am also very crafty and will be sharing projects. Chickens will arriving on Lazy Daisy Farm in May of 2021.
I have started this site in February of 2021. It is still under construction and I have lots of tweeking to do while I figure it all out. I plan on having lots of content to share. Stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by.
